The Duluth Community School Collaborative (DCSC) Board of Directors and staff are pleased to welcome Kelsey Gantzer as the new Executive Director of the organization.
“We are really happy to have Kelsey onboard in a leadership role at DCSC,” Annie Harala, Duluth Community School Collaborative Board Chair, said. “I am looking forward to this next step for the organization as we continue to serve our mission connecting the community and schools together for student and family success.”
Gantzer joins the Collaborative from her role as Food Access Manager and Rutabaga Project Manager at the Arrowhead Economic Opportunity Agency. Prior to that, she served as the Operations and Communications Manager for the Minnesota Elementary School Principals Association. In addition to her nonprofit leadership experience, she has a passion for building community connections and working with youth. She holds a BA in Business Management and English from the University of St. Thomas.
Gantzer’s hiring comes as the organization continues to grow and align with district-wide objectives. “I am honored to have the opportunity to lead the Duluth Community School Collaborative. The collaborative is poised to bring a wealth of resources into the schools and build on the tremendous momentum of the past few years. I look forward to being a part of the effort to bring the collaborative to the next level, making a positive difference for students, families and the broader Duluth community,” Gantzer said.
