Summer Youth Program Lead full-time, temporary position from 7/5-8/22

The Summer Youth Program Lead will be part of a team providing a high-quality summer program focused on increasing students’ sense of belonging and engagement with their school—Myers-Wilkins Elementary. The Summer Youth Program Lead will be responsible for the daily leadership of activities in the program. This full-time (32-40 hours/week at $17/hour) position will run from July 5th- August 22nd, 2022. Work hours for the position are generally Monday-Friday 8am-3pm. The Summer program will consist of up to 60 youth entering grades 1-5, participating in a rotation of activities including special instruction in gardening, nutrition, visual and performing arts. Summer Youth Program Teen Leader ages 16-18, temporary position from 7/5-8/22

The Summer Youth Program Teen Leader is a full- or part-time temporary position paying $15/hour for young people ages 16-18 that provides the opportunity to gain experience working with kids while being part of a team providing a high-quality summer program at Myers-Wilkins Elementary. The summer program is focused on increasing students’ sense of belonging and engagement with their school and community so having Teen Leaders as role models is an important part of our program model. This is a temporary position that will run from July 5th-August 22nd, 2022. Work hours for the position are generally Monday-Friday 8am-3pm with flexibility for full and part time scheduling. Community Health Coordinator full-time, year-round position with benefits

The Community Health Coordinator is responsible for assisting students and families of Myers-Wilkins Elementary School in reducing barriers to regular school attendance by navigating social services and health systems. This position is full-time and pays $21/hour if you have a Community Health Worker (CHW) certificate or $20/hour if you do not already have a CHW certificate, as we will assist you in obtaining one. The Community Health Coordinator will also support health initiatives and resources access for Lincoln Park Middle School and Denfeld High School. The goal of this position is to increase access to health and social services and to improve the quality and cultural competence of delivery of these services. Most of the Community Health Coordinator’s role will be direct one-to-one work with participants, partnering with them to increase access to opportunities that promote wellbeing and health.
