Volunteer Coordinator

Full-Time, $22/hour, nonexempt position.

The Duluth Community School Collaborative’s Volunteer Coordinator Position is a full-time, salaried, exempt position responsible for recruiting, training, managing, evaluating, celebrating, and tracking volunteers to support the Full-Service Community School model at Myers-Wilkins Elementary, Lincoln Park Middle School, and Denfeld High School. This position will report to the Executive Director and will work closely with our Program Director, Community School Coordinators, and Out of School Program Coordinators.

Summer Youth Program Leads (Hiring 5 positions)

Full-Time, Seasonal $18/hour, nonexempt position. (Dates: June 12th - July 19th -- potential for extended dates if interested)

This is the fun and rewarding Summer job you’ve been looking for! The Summer Youth Program Lead is a temporary position that will be part of a team providing a high-quality Summer program (Wolf Pack) focused on increasing students’ sense of belonging and engagement with their school—Myers-Wilkins Elementary.  Wolf Pack will consist of approximately 75 youth entering grades 1-6, participating in a rotation of activities including special instruction in hands-on academic learning, gardening, nutrition, visual arts, athletics, and outdoor recreation. Program Lead staff will also support the addition of our Stay and Play program which is a drop-in based offering including open gym, outdoor, and arts based activities for anyone attending the school’s lunch program.

Lead Teacher- Drop-in Childcare (PT/Temp)

Part-time, temporary. $16-18/hour, nonexempt position.

Providing safe and consistent childcare so families can join in leadership is critical to the success of the Full-Service Community School model at Myers-Wilkins Elementary, Lincoln Park Middle School, and Denfeld High School, a model that promotes equity in achievement and wellbeing for all students. 

​

The Duluth Community School Collaborative’s Drop-in Childcare Lead Teacher Position is a part-time, hourly, temp position responsible for overseeing DCSC’s drop-in childcare offering during family and community meetings. This position will also be responsible for working with our Volunteer Coordinator to recruit, train, and supervise volunteers helping with childcare as well.

​

This position will report to the Myers-Wilkins Community School Coordinator and will work closely with our Volunteer Coordinator and other Myers-Wilkins Community School staff.
