Open positions

Community Health Coordinator

Full-Time, Year-Round Position. $21/hour, nonexempt position. 

This position is responsible for assisting students and families of Myers-Wilkins Elementary School with navigating healthcare and social service systems.  Most of the Community Health Coordinator’s role will be direct one-to-one work with participants, partnering with them to increase access to opportunities that promote wellbeing and health, with the goal of increasing school engagement. In addition to one-to-one work, the Community Health Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating healthy food access initiatives, including the Fresh Fruits and Vegetables Program at Myers-Wilkins and supporting our pantry programs at all three Community Schools. This position will also support health initiatives and resources access for Lincoln Park Middle School and Denfeld High School students.

Lead Teacher- Drop-in Childcare (PT/Temp)

Part-time, temporary. $16-18/hour, nonexempt position. 

Providing safe and consistent childcare so families can join in leadership is critical to the success of the Full-Service Community School model at Myers-Wilkins Elementary, Lincoln Park Middle School, and Denfeld High School, a model that promotes equity in achievement and wellbeing for all students. 

The Duluth Community School Collaborative’s Drop-in Childcare Lead Teacher Position is a part-time, hourly, temp position responsible for overseeing DCSC’s drop-in childcare offering during family and community meetings. This position will also be responsible for working with our Volunteer Coordinator to recruit, train, and supervise volunteers helping with childcare as well.

This position will report to the Myers-Wilkins Community School Coordinator and will work closely with our Volunteer Coordinator and other Myers-Wilkins Community School staff.
