Open positions

Denfeld Community Health Coordinator 

Full-time, year-round, 40 hr/wk, nonexempt position

​

This position is primarily responsible for assisting students and families of Denfeld High School with navigating healthcare and social service systems. Most of the Community Health Coordinator’s role will be direct one-to-one work with participants, partnering with them to increase access to opportunities that promote wellbeing and health, with the goal of increasing school engagement. In addition to one-to-one work, the Community Health Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating a School-Based Health Center coalition and supporting the Hunter Hut–Denfeld’s clothing, food, and resource pantry. This position will also collaborate with other DCSC and Duluth Public School Staff to support health initiatives and resources access across our three Community Schools: Denfeld High School, Lincoln Park Middle School, and Myers-Wilkins Elementary School.
